Not To Upset Anyone…
But my iPod does not seem to be working. I was just listening to it last night, but when I plugged it in to charge it up this morning…nothing. No glowing charging screen, no little Apple symbol, just…nothing. Part of me keeps saying that maybe I should give it a good hard whack against the wall, because, you know, that’s how you fix electronic gadgets that are malfunctioning. Actually, that could explain how I’ve gone through three different computers and a laptop in nearly as many years! But this iPod thing is really starting to bother me. I had gotten some audio books and loaded them up so that I would have something to listen to while I was in the hospital bringing a tiny new citizen into the world. Now what will I do? I’ve got my crossword puzzles and search-a-words, but what if I want to listen to my tunes? Or one of the many podcasts I’ve got loaded up? What then? Also, this is my U2 special edition iPod that came with every single U2 song ever recorded. (I would’ve gotten the Harry Potter special edition, except I didn’t know they existed until it was too late!) My iPod has the signatures of Bono, The Edge, Larry Mullen Jr., and Adam Clayton all etched into the back of it. Plus, it’s a cool red and black color combination. Also, I can’t afford to buy a new one until sometime in October! And I needs me my iPod! That iPod got me through all of Aurora’s late night feedings when she was a teensy little newborn and I was kind of counting on it for when Aubrey is born. *sigh* I never thought of myself as a gadget fiend until this very moment, but if my iPod is actually dead *sniff, sniff*, I may have to resort to drastic measures!

Is there a chance that you could call up their tech support? Or take it to one of the Apple stores?
I really, really, REALLY wish I could help. My best guesses would be to try charging it again… and PRAY. Pray lots. I’ll pray, too.

I’m so sorry! This is my luck with digital cameras. I have been through four in the past two years.
